Staff Software Engineer (C#)

We are currently looking for a Staff Software Engineer, someone versatile and enthusiastic to take on new challenges as we continue to push technology forward. We are looking for a person who will:

  • Be involved in full product lifecycle including requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing, deployment and adjusting product support procedures
  • Contribute individually and align team members to develop high-quality products
  • Provide direction and mentoring to others, drive a team of highly experienced and similarly qualified engineers
  • Play key role in setting up and executing tech excellence strategy
  • Build, review and support key design solutions

Qualifications & experience

  • 7+ year experience in C#, expert knowledge of .Net Core platform or .Net Framework + ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Design Patterns, SOLID and PoEAA are your handy tools
  • You are sure that Micro-service architecture is not only about micro-services connected with service bus. You know typical service roles, responsibilities and interactions. You know what micro-service hell means and how to avoid it
  • You know how to build secured applications
  • You know how to build high-performance applications and enjoy tuning their performance and resource usage
  • Solid knowledge in data structures and algorithms
  • Natively speak SQL, know-how SQL server stores data, indexes and logs. You don't panic once you have seen a mazy query plan
  • Enjoy working in a product-oriented agile-like environment with a target focus on both delivery and quality
  • Solid experience working with modern frontend frameworks like Vue, Angular and React, know their approaches, weaknesses and strengths
  • Know how to build docker containers and debug containerized applications
  • Have excellent communication skills, specifically when finding the best approach and convincing others to follow it
  • Are ready to work in international teams with English as the default language, with good written and spoken skills

It would be great if you are:

  • A proven influencer, you have publications in software engineering or computer science areas, or you are a professional conference speaker or user group leader
  • A significant contributor to a popular open-source project
